What is Botox®?

What does a treatment consist of?

Multiple injections of Botox® are administered during an office visit into the targeted muscle group responsible for facial wrinkling. The injection is usually painless. A topical anesthetic is available also.

How long does Botox® last?
In time the injected facial muscles do recover. By 90 days most of the cosmetic benefits have disappeared requiring reinjection and maintenance therapy.*

What are the side effects of Botox®?
Botox® injection is a very safe procedure and associated with few complications when injected by a qualified health professional. Bruising, swelling and redness at the injection sites are temporary and self-limited.*
